Independent studio in Dijon
Yunogames Studio
A solo workshop making curious, readable, replayable games, with that little urge to understand the system and push it one step further.
Our source of inspiration
Dijon, our base camp.
The studio imagines, prototypes and shapes its games in the heart of Burgundy.
Between heritage, gastronomy, vineyards, old streets and popular culture, Dijon feeds a simple way of working: take time to understand, make do with what is at hand, and look for the tiny detail that makes an experience memorable.
Behind the logo
The dev: portrait
Video games have been there since childhood. Not only as a hobby: as a place where music, images, writing, maths, interfaces and emotions end up in the same box. A playable art form, part laboratory, part stage.
The studio comes from that urge: to make experiences. First hacked-together Flash games at university for friends, now Steam games that try to be original, satisfying and solid enough to live outside.
The method is iterative, sometimes a little stubborn: try, fail fast, learn, cut, start again. The goal is not to get everything right on the first try, but to find the loop that makes you say: one more run.
First Steam game
Alone we go faster, together we go further.
Funfair Billionaire showed that one motivated person can publish a game, but also that a player community can be incredibly useful. Small streamers, frank comments and direct discussions give a simple compass: read feedback, choose what matters, then adjust.
Current project
Ski Lines, the current flagship project.
The studio focuses on a clear promise: turning a trail map into a strategy puzzle. Lines, elevation, visible decisions, and a game that makes you want to build a cleaner resort than the last one.
Read the terrain
Draw, connect, optimize.
Ski Lines concentrates the studio's current identity: few elements, many consequences, and a map that must stay readable when everything starts moving.
